Dear SPS Families-
Greetings on this warm summer day! I hope everyone is well! A couple of quick updates.
Chromebook Returns: A reminder that ALL Chromebooks need to be returned by tomorrow, Friday. Drop-off is available from 8:30-11:30am today and tomorrow at the back of the High School off Adams Street. We will be in contact with families who have not returned devices by Friday. For students participating in Extended School Year services, we will re-distribute devices once we have inventoried, cleaned, and updated the Chromebooks.
Reopening in the Fall: We are looking forward to some new, more specific guidance on reopening in the fall which is slated for today from Governor Baker and DESE Commissioner Riley. Once received, our working groups will examine the frameworks and continue our work on developing Stoughton’s specific plans. We will be sending out additional details as well as requests for feedback in the coming days and weeks.
Bus applications: No matter how school looks in the fall, we will still be providing bus transportation. In order for us to get a clearer picture of who may be riding the bus, we need folks to fill out the application online at stoughtontransportation.com. Please don’t worry about making the July 31 payment deadline at this time. We will work that out before the start of the year. However, we do need to have the applications by Friday to begin the process of routing the buses. Thank you to everyone who has already completed the application process and have made their payments!
