SPS Week Ahead

The SPS Week Ahead compiles a list of some of the events taking place throughout the district as well as some important reminders.

New Elementary School Building Project Vote at Town Meeting

Stoughton's annual Town Meeting begins Monday night, May 6. There is an article that will be heard on Monday night asking Town Meeting members to approve the new elementary school building project and authorize the funding for it. If approved at Town Meeting, Stoughton voters will be asked to approve the project during a special election in June, which will officially give the green light for the new elementary school to be built. So Town Meeting is an important step in the approval process. You can read more about the Town Meeting vote in Dr. Baeta's message in the most recent SPS Weekly Newsletter. Town Meeting is shown live on SMAC's government channel (Comcast 8/Verizon 24) and online at www.stoughtontv.com
